Oh, me, oh my, oh moo.
I have come down with the flu.
Whatever will I do?
Forget about the swine flu.
Methinks I have the elephant variety
So much for prayers and piety.
Perhaps I'm going to diety.
Sorry, I couldn't think of anything that rhymes with piety to finish it off. My apologies to Ogden Nash. Ohhhh, my head hurts :(

Oh Bob, so sorry. I hope you feel better soon. It isn't fun getting the flu. We had flu shots late last year and we are debating whether to get the swine flu shot or not. Get well soon amigo. You will be fine, have faith..
Bob, I hope you feel better soon! Get plenty of rest and let Gina spoil you. :D
God Bob, lots of té...and pañuelos and caldo de pollo and descanso and create un poema.
Get better Bob, I so enjoy your blog. At least it is warm where you are, it has been cold in Topeka thus far in 2010.

I will add your name in the prayer wall for healing.
Gloria, Leslie, Alfredo, Dale, and Chrissy y Keith,
Thank you amigos for the kind wishes and encouragement. I am feeling better but I am going to stay home from work today and recuperate. I can work at my computer here in my house.
Dale,
I just realized that it has been at least twenty years since I set foot in Topeka. It feels like a lifetime ago. I remember the cold winters spent in my shack on the banks of the Wakarusa River and I shiver. As cold as we think it might get here it never gets down below freezing :)
Hope you are feeling better. I know exactly how you feel!!
Hope you're feeling better now.
Good idea to stay in the casa and rest. There is an ugly bronchial thing around this part of Mexico - it lingers something awful. Get well soon amigo
Bob, so sorry you're feeling poorly. You just bundle up and stay warm indoors. And drink lots of tea. Somehow I think just the heat from the tea soothes the bronchials and sinuses. And yes, chicken soup too! Stay plenty hydrated, and you'll be fine soon! Praying for you old buddy!
Mezcal will cure anything....
Bob - if you can write poetry when you feel that bad, there's a lot of hope for you. Now you need to translate it into Spanish for all your Mexican friends (a copy for me too, por favor). Hope you will soon be recovered from your elephant flu.
