There will always be, better times. If someone dislikes me, I simply think...there are millions better than you. Do not even look at me. I think that a gentle way to put your American friends in the right place is to show them this poem. Seems like you hit the nail on the head. I'm going to write this poem down and put it up on a wall. I seriously need to work on this. I have so much in my life to be thankful for and I know from past experience if I keep focusing on the things that tick me off or that I don't like then I will be scowling often. I'm not sure why grumping comes so natural and looking at the good doesn't but deff the effort must be made more.bordersasidehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14142674938117338592noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7985623786044384912.post-12295344760777403132009-09-27T17:38:05.518-05:002009-09-27T17:38:05.518-05:00Hooray for the Pollyannas of the world! In school the nuns were too busy slapping our wrists with rulers to tell us he was a male poet. We all learned the "Tree" poem and nothing about the poet!<br />Thanks!Tanchohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11196129338636347646noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7985623786044384912.post-71301506270914376302009-09-27T17:10:45.840-05:002009-09-27T17:10:45.840-05:00Yes, I do like your positive attitude.
